The United States Department of Energy has awarded $1.2 million to Dow Corning Corporation to develop an insulating facade system that may significantly increase the energy efficiency of commercial buildings. 

USG Corporation’s plant in Walworth, Wis., received a Wisconsin Corporate Safety Award in recognition of workplace safety and health excellence. The Wisconsin Council of Safety and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development presented the award at the 68th annual Wisconsin Safety and Health Conference on April 27 in Wisconsin Dells.
