The new Clamart Sports Centre is ‘an authentic city of sports’ with a shape designed to follow the curves of the landscape. The design work was based on the definition of the architectural concept by Gaétan Morales and his team from Gaëtan Le Penhuel architect agency.

The building project is an important addition both architecturally and academically, according to Ray Varela, architect in charge for Carrier Johnson + CULTURE. “New majors and collaborative research opportunities are housed in the new two-story science complex,” Varela adds. “This is a significant expansion to the academic space at Point Loma Nazarene University, which is known for its excellent science department and successful student placements in medical schools.”

Atlas Roofing is supporting a group of Canadian-based wildlife biologists this summer on their expedition to study the whale and dolphin species of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Led by Katy Gavrilchuk and David Gaspard, in association with a non-profit organization, The Mingan Island Cetacean Study, the expedition will focus on the long-term monitoring of large baleen whales on an important summer feeding ground.

The Balletto Vineyards and Winery’s barrel storage facility in Sebastopol, Calif., was a combination of a custom-engineered metal building from Metallic and insulated metal panels from Metl-Span.
