Dick Bus, president of ATAS International, headquartered in Allentown, Pennsylvania, was recognized in the 2023 Lehigh Valley Business’ Power 100 list. The list includes 100 leaders within the Lehigh Valley who shape the communities and influence the quality of life in the region.

The award-winning, multidisciplinary firm WXY architecture + urban design announced architect Farida Abu-Bakare’s Fellowship appointment with the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. Saint-Gobain North America, through CertainTeed, has installed a smart water submetering system and upgraded equipment at its siding plant in Jackson, Michigan. Total construction spending in April increased by 1.2 percent from March and 7.2 percent year-over-year as widespread gains in nonresidential and multifamily construction spending offset a continuing plunge in single-family homebuilding, according to an analysis June 1 by the Associated General Contractors of America of new federal data.
