Saint-Gobain North America has acquired International Cellulose Corporation, a manufacturer of commercial specialty insulation products. The acquisition of ICC’s business will enable Saint-Gobain to offer fireproofing and insulation solutions that enhance energy conservation and efficiency in commercial spaces.

The construction industry will need to attract an estimated 501,000 additional workers on top of the normal pace of hiring in 2024 to meet the demand for labor, according to a proprietary model developed by Associated Builders and Contractors.

The application window for the 2024-2025 Simpson Strong-Tie scholarship is now open. The scholarship is available to undergraduate students in civil/structural engineering, architecture and construction management/technology.
