Several training and education opportunities took place during the Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance’s 2024 Fall Conference in Minneapolis, including an informative session on mockup testing in construction, a primer on corrosion, and an educational, hands-on workshop demonstrating proper application of materials common in fenestration installation, as presented by the FGIA Wall Interface Council.

Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation rolled out the Carlisle PRO Academy, a comprehensive training, education and certification program for spray foam professionals. Developed in direct response to contractor feedback, Carlisle PRO Academy participants can become certified applicators by completing a series of online learning modules and an in-field evaluation.

AGC and Procore Technologies, Inc. announced that they have met their initial fundraising goal of $500,000 for a new scholarship to support minority students studying construction at the nation’s Historically Black Colleges & Universities. Students will begin receiving the scholarship starting in the 2022-23 school year.
