Participants at the Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance’s Summer Conference heard about the definitions, measurements, codes and testing standards for several natural disasters though an Intertek-sponsored session, “Natural Disaster Standards and Testing.”
Sto Corp. has announced that StoVentec Rainscreen Systems has been evaluated by Intertek, a respected, independent and accredited agency, and found to be fully code compliant. StoVentec Render and Masonry Veneer Rainscreen systems are all included in Intertek’s evaluations, and the Glass system is coming soon.
Intertek, a leading provider of quality solutions to industries around the world, has completed the acquisition of Professional Service Industries, Inc., a leading engineering and testing firm providing integrated quality assurance services across a range of disciplines within the construction market. The acquisition recently gained regulatory approval and the transaction was finalized on Nov. 23.
