RIDGID is celebrating a major milestone this year: 100 years of designing and building innovative tools trusted on job sites around the world and handed down from generation to generation.

RIDGID hosted its third annual “We Love STEM Day” in June for Ohio students in grades three through eight. The event is designed to expose young learners to the real-world roles that science, technology, engineering and mathematics play in their everyday lives and potential future careers.

RIDGID and its employees donated more than 400 food and personal care items, including vegetables, canned goods, box meals, pasta and soup to Elyria, Ohio’s Pioneer Freedge as part of a donation drive sponsored by Mosaic, an Emerson employee resource group focused on serving the community, celebrating diversity and creating an inclusive work environment for people working away from their home location.

To commemorate the occasion, RIDGID will spend 2023 celebrating the trades, their impact on our world and the brand’s legacy.

RIDGID introduces its first backpack vacuum for fast, mobile cleanup of large dry messes. The lightweight RIDGID 6 Quart NXT Dry Backpack Vac offers users powerful suction and performance during cleaning, while also increasing the flexibility to reach into high and low places as well as tight and hard-to-reach spaces.

RIDGID, a part of Emerson’s professional tools portfolio, recently hosted their fifth annual RIDGID Experience trip, a VIP event that invites select members of the skilled trades to gather for fun, camaraderie and hands-on experiences. The event also serves as a “thank you” to the trades for the role they play in building and maintaining our country’s infrastructure.

RIDGID will award scholarships to four plumbing and HVACR apprentices as part of its partnership with the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) Educational Foundation and its apprentice contest.
