The ACI Foundation has partnered with the ACI Houston Chapter to create a new student academic award. Through the chapter’s generous donation, the ACI Foundation can offer an additional fellowship to benefit students studying in concrete-related degree programs, the ACI Houston Chapter Fellowship.

The ACI Foundation has created a new fellowship to honor the retirement and legacy of ACI Executive Vice President Ronald G. Burg.

The award-winning, multidisciplinary firm WXY architecture + urban design announced architect Farida Abu-Bakare’s Fellowship appointment with the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. As well, arts and culture advocate Amy Hau has been promoted to managing principal and accomplished architect Robert Young has joined the firm as associate principal.

Simpson Strong-Tie has announced the opening of the application window for its Student Scholarship as part of the company’s Strong-Tie Undergraduate Fellowship. The online scholarship application for the 2023–2024 academic year is now available to students in participating universities at strongtie.com/scholarships.

The ACI Foundation has created a new fellowship in honor of Kenneth C. Hover. His past and present teaching, communication, research, and consulting activities have positively influenced several thousands of individuals in the concrete industry community and enhanced their knowledge about concrete.

The ACI Foundation announces that applications are now being accepted from graduate and undergraduate students for the 2021-2022 academic year. 

Simpson Strong-Tie hosted 32 Simpson Strong-Tie Student Scholarship Program award recipients from universities across the country as part of its new fellowship program.
