Topcon Positioning Systems announced it has made a strategic investment in DDK Positioning Ltd, an Aberdeen, Scotland-based specialist in GNSS receivers and PPP correction services. DDK Positioning delivers services exclusively over the Iridium network to provide global precision positioning services that can augment GNSS constellations to significantly enhance their accuracy for critical industrial applications.
Topcon Positioning Systems has committed to making two significant donations to TU Dublin, Ireland’s first technological university, which will enhance students’ experience with education on the latest digital construction methods. The announcement marks another step in the longstanding relationship between the two organizations.
Topcon Solutions Store has been named Partner of the Year — Americas 2022 by Autodesk Construction Solutions, the team at Autodesk behind the company’s comprehensive construction management solution Autodesk Construction Cloud. TSS committed enhanced resources and exclusive sales personnel to the construction space, resulting in significant growth in its Autodesk construction business in 2021.
In addition to the Partner of the Year honor, TSS was further recognized with employee Ian Donovan, regional software sales manager at TSS, earning the Autodesk Partner Value Selling Award — Americas 2022.
The Topcon Positioning Group partnership with racecar driver James Roe Jr. has grown to now include European racing, with the recent selection of Roe as a team driver in the prestigious Italian GT Endurance Championship. Solidly climbing the ranks in the IndyLights USA racing circuit, he will compete in the remaining rounds of the 2022 Italian GT Endurance Championship, held July 14-17 at the famed Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello in Tuscany, Italy.
