Simpson Strong-Tie and Building Talent Foundation have announced the extension of their partnership into 2026 with a $900,000 investment from Simpson Strong-Tie over the next three years.
In Nov. 16’s Federal Register, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced that it is automatically extending the validity of Temporary Protected Status-related documentation for beneficiaries under the TPS designations of El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Haiti, Sudan and Nepal from Dec. 31, 2022, to June 30, 2024. The TPS-related documents covered by this notice are Employment Authorization Documents, Notices of Action (Forms I-797) and Arrival/Departure Records (Forms I-94).
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration reopened the comment period for an additional 60 days on the proposal to reconsider and revoke the final approval of Arizona’s State Plan for Occupational Safety and Health. The agency also postponed the public hearing tentatively scheduled for Aug. 16, 2022.
