Muffling Technology

Quiet Qurl MT is the most exciting technology we’ve developed. This “Muffling Technology” is available on any Quiet Qurl product and adds a conformable bottom side muffler to the sound control mat. Topside is a blue point-bonded, moisture-resistant fabric laminated to the surface so that gypsum concrete and other materials can create a floating floor. On the bottom side is the MT, a white, highly compressible polyester fabric. Muffling Technology provides the best “bang for your buck” acoustical add-on in the industry! Flexible Intumescent Joint Strip
RectorSeal
A flexible, highly intumescent firestop material used in concrete/masonry control floor and wall joints up to 2 inches wide. It forms a strong char that prevents the passage of flame, smoke, and hot gases between control joints. It can be used with plastic pipe penetrations. The product is ideal for stadium construction, tilt up panels, curtain wall panels and all concrete and masonry construction joint applications where a fire rated control joint is required. It is approved with any UL listed sealant.

Deflection Clip Line Expanded
Flex-Ability Concepts
The company has announced that its line of deflection clips, the Three Legged Dog, has expanded to include the following sizes: 1⅝-, 2½-, 3⅝-, 6-, 8- and 10-inch. Installation is extremely simple as the clip easily slips over the end of a stud before it is raised into place. No dropped clips, and the installer’s hands are both free.

LathNet: The Drainage You Need

Mortar Net Solutions’ LathNet drainage plane and metal lath system is available for use with thin brick, stone, stucco and other types of adhered masonry. The system provides a faster, easier installation method than installing lath and drainage mesh separately. LathNet features include a factory-assembled combination of self-furring, 2.5-pound G-60 galvanized expanded steel metal lath and 90 percent open weave polyester drainage mesh.
