Cadence McShane Construction Company, Anthology Senior Living and PRDG Architects recently celebrated the “Topping Out” milestone for the Anthology of Highland Park assisted living and memory care facility located at the corner of Throckmorton and Herschel near downtown Dallas, as the project team placed the uppermost steel member of the building.
Anthology of Highland Park is a 130,000-square-foot, 11-story development and is the first of its kind in the area. The 121-unit high rise features 24 memory care units occupying the second floor and 97 assisted living units on the remaining floors. The assisted living units include eight studios, 53 one-bedroom units and 36 spacious two-bedroom/two-bathroom configurations.
Nestled comfortably in the prestigious Highland Park neighborhood of Dallas, future residents will have easy access to the restaurants and shopping areas nearby.
The property will feature amenities tailored to the needs of its residents, providing a salon, theater, fitness center, cozy library and pub with a fireplace, and top-floor dining areas with incredible, unobstructed views of Dallas.
The exterior of the building features shaded, elevated terraces on floors two, three and 11, and a subterranean parking garage offers 58 parking spaces for full-time residents.
“The topping-out of a project is exciting and we are thrilled to reach this milestone,” commented Vice President of Housing and Senior Living Dave Tague. “The team has worked hard to respect the community throughout the duration of this project, and we are so grateful for everyone who has given 100 percent since the beginning.”
The project is scheduled for completion in summer 2023 and will soon be ready to welcome residents to their new home.
