OX Tools announced that it is working with Royd Tool Group on a potential acquisition of its Tracer Tools business.

Tracer Tools is an innovative supplier of professional-quality marking products for the construction industry. Headquartered in the U.K. and distributed globally, Tracer Tools is quickly becoming a market leader in pro-grade marking solutions. OX USA already distributes Tracer products in the U.S. and Canada markets, so this is a strategic opportunity that aligns perfectly with its “Mark of a Pro” mission to build the best pro brands and strengthen its position as a leader in the marking category.

Tracer Tools is known for delivering simple yet innovative solutions to everyday challenges, including its signature deep-hole construction markers with interchangeable leads, clog-free construction markers and heavy-duty carpenter pencils.

OX Tools is also acquiring the rights to distribute the SMART Tools product range for the U.K. and Ireland markets. This range of products provides the OX Group with access to a comprehensive range of multi-tool blades and accessories and a strong customer base across the U.K. and Ireland.
