Women in Construction Week was founded by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) in 1953 as a tool to bring women from around the industry together. The goals of the week stretch across every corner of the construction industry, and include changing the mindset that women are only supposed to fill select jobs. This year, Women in Construction Week fell during the same week as the 2020 EIMA Annual Meeting.

EIMA would like to extend hearty congratulations to this year's EIFS Hero Project Awards recipients.

The EIFS Industry Members Association recently conducted a survey of the EIFS industry to determine how COVID-19 was effecting their individual businesses. Results were collected between March 26 and March 31.

EIMA’s membership has increased by 450 percent in the last decade. At the beginning of the decade, EIMA had just over 100 members. 

As part of an initiative to increase the use of Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) in the residential market, EIMA has created a marketing video.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott officially signed H.B. 2439 into law on June 14, 2019.

After gaining support and successful votes of approval in both the House and Senate, H.B. 2439 was signed by Texas Governor Abbott Friday, June 14.

At the 2019 EIMA Annual Meeting, Master Wall received this year’s Merit Award.
