Jonathan Humble, regional director of the AISI Construction Technical Program, was installed as an Honorary Member of the International Code Council (ICC).

Every three years, the International Code Council (ICC) goes through the process of updating the building codes outlined in the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). The IECC is the model energy code in the U.S., and updates to the 2021 edition were just finalized by the ICC.

Many communities are addressing the need for additional hospital beds and alternate care space by allowing the use of tents or temporary membrane structures. This May join a diverse coalition of corporations, nonprofits, government agencies and professionals in the building industry to support the 38th annual Building Safety Month. Presented by the International Code Council, this global campaign reminds us of the importance of building codes in protecting our families and communities.
