This year’s Ceilings & Interior Systems Construction Association awards were presented on April 17 during its annual convention. 

Gordon Incorporated was awarded the honor and privilege to become integrally involved in the design, engineering, constructability assessments, fabrication, and also served in an advisory capacity for the installation of the custom ceilings, walls, light coves, trim, and ornamental treatments throughout this reverent space now known as The 9/11 Memorial Museum, designed by Davis Brody Bond, LLC, architect.

Radius Track Corporation received the Excellence in Construction Award from CISCA, the Ceiling and Interior Systems Contractor Association.

A new report released by the Construction Industry Safety Coalition (CISC) found that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) proposed silica standards for U.S. construction industry will cost the industry $5 billion per year—roughly $4 .5 billion per year more than OSHA’s estimates.

James B. Moynihan, ROCKFON’s VP and GM for North America, joins the CISCA 2014 board of directors as a manufacturer director, serving a 2-year term.
