Armstrong World Industries, Inc. announced Jan. 23 it has been named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies for 2023 by Newsweek magazine. AWI was ranked No. 76 out of 500 companies and No. 4 in the capital goods category, which included more than 40 companies.

Armstrong Ceiling & Wall Solutions has announced that its Drywall Grid System is now known as FrameAll Drywall Grid.

Daley's Drywall is a drywall contractor founded in 1963 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Brittni Daley-Grishaeva joined the firm in 2009 and now helms it as president and chief financial officer, making her the third generation to run the family-owned business.

GMS Inc. announced that the company has added several newly developed material handling trucks equipped with battery-powered hydraulic cranes to its distribution fleet and plans to add approximately 20 additional units in the next two years as they become available.

In June 2022, the Wisconsin Housing & Economic Development Authority celebrated its move to a newly constructed five-story, 92,000-square-foot building in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. Part of a planned revitalization, the building’s full-brick façade with large windows showcases a contemporary industrial style, bridging between the neighborhood’s historic buildings and the East Washington Corridor’s new developments.

As part of a bond to improve and expand the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District facilities, De Zavala Elementary School completed a transformative renovation. The original elementary school, built in 1985, nearly doubled in size to the current 168,479-square-foot, two-story facility.
