Kaiser Permanente’s first medical office building in Berkeley, California, reflects its “Next Generation” in health care building design. The three-story, 60,670-square-foot Kaiser Permanente – East Bay Berkeley Medical Office Building uses technology and space to create an environment that offers patients, visitors and staff a calm, comforting, welcoming and supportive space.

Employees at architectural products provider Golterman & Sabo received an unforgettable holiday surprise. At a recent company meeting, the entire staff learned they would become owners of the more than 75-year-old business.

The new Texas hospital rises four stories with initial capacity for 95 beds. Comprehensive services include a 24/7 emergency room, general surgery, women’s services, orthopedics, interventional cardiology, gastroenterology, imaging, laboratory and pharmacy.

The John S. Dunn Behavioral Sciences Center at UTHealth Science Center’s Houston Continuum Care Campus celebrated its grand opening in March 2022. Built in partnership with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, the new 253,000-square-foot, 264-bed facility is the first public psychiatric hospital Texas has opened in 25 years.

Delta Dental, the largest dental insurance provider in the nation, recently updated the interior appearance and employee experience of two offices in downtown Oakland, California, and San Francisco. Completed in 2020, the interiors of several floors in the existing urban buildings were renovated in phases to create a contemporary collaborative workspace for the occupants.

Following its acquisition by GMS in December 2021, the AMES platform continues to execute against its growth strategy by adding three new AMES store locations in Fresno, California; Palm Bay, Florida; and Concord, North Carolina, enhancing its market coverage in these geographies. The opening of the Fresno location represents the 100th store opening for AMES.

GMS established three new greenfield locations since its last platform expansion press release. The activities expand the company’s presence, provide enhanced service and broaden the product offerings in their respective markets.
