For tool manufacturers, having success at trade shows has become a big part of the overall success of their company, so there is a lot riding on the entire process.

Selos is a plasterer, but to leave it at that would be like saying Van Gogh or Rembrandt dabbled in paints. Just as the masters started with a blank slate and brush in hand, Selos starts with many of the same tools as any plastering professional. What is created by the end of the process, though, is far from typical.

On Dec. 20, Michael Alford and his son, Michael Jr., were joined by more than a dozen volunteers and others who made their dream gift possible as they were presented the keys to their new house, a Habitat for Humanity home that was created in large part due to the efforts of various contractors and construction professionals who donated a number of products, supplies and man hours to bring the home to life.
